Christopher H. Richter

Shareholder and Attorney

For nearly two decades, I have dedicated my practice to helping injured workers navigate the complex workers’ compensation system—a system that too often works against them at every stage. My mission is to guide clients through these rough waters with clarity, compassion, and unwavering advocacy so they can regain stability and move forward with confidence.

Background & Experience

With 20 years of experience in workers’ compensation, I have represented clients across Colorado’s Western Slope facing every kind of work-related injury—minor, severe, life-altering, and even fatal. Over the years, I have worked in many areas of the firm, but my passion has always been advocating for injured workers and helping them find their footing after a devastating event at work.

My experience has shown me how overwhelming a work injury can be, and it has strengthened my commitment to ensuring injured workers receive the support, direction, and protection they deserve.

My Approach to Clients

I know that when someone is hurt at work, they are often facing physical pain, emotional stress, psychological strain, and tremendous uncertainty. My goal is to be a steady, reliable presence throughout the process.

I stay in regular communication with my clients, listen to their concerns, and explain each step of the workers’ compensation system—from the challenges and pitfalls to the possible outcomes, especially when the claim is contested.

My focus is to make sure my clients never feel alone in a system that can be intimidating and unfair.
